Welcome to the Indian Graduate Students Organization (IGSO) at Binghamton University's website.
We are a non-profit students organization looking to unite the Indian students at the university. Our aim is to create a home away from home. We celebrate Indian festivals, give cultural performances highlighting Indian tradition and showcasing the rich Indian cultural heritage. IGSO helps the Indian students through various programs, the most important being allotting hosts to the new students, who help their guests with the initial transit from the Airport, initial stay, getting done with the University formalities, and coping with home sickness.We are really thankful to the University which provides full support and excellent facilities. One of the finest of its kind in the United States, the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is the best organization to be linked with. IGSO takes part in the various cultural shows and sports activities organized by the ISSS. IGSO is the Volley Ball champion for the current academic year, and also has won prizes in Table Tennis. IGSO has actively participated in the Soccer and Basket Ball championships.
